About Us

We are based in Lunan Bay, Angus, on the North East of Scotland.  We started building by creating a 3ft wingspan Supermarine Spitfire for our own garden. A neighbour saw the build from various stages until the finished item. He suggested creating the battle of Britain trio. “Not to that scale” I said. The Lancaster would have been huge. So, not one to turn down a challenge, I spent a bit of time finding and scaling plans to suit. End result was a set of three 1/27th scale whirligigs. The Spitfire, Hurricane and the Lancaster. He took a couple of photos and posted on an ex forces website, and pardon the pun, things have taken off since then. All our products are made from treated timber, painted and detailed, then finished with a high quality exterior yacht varnish for a long lifespan. Bespoke lettering is available for that personal touch for gifts.

We now create standard and customised whirligigs and wind vanes for our customers. If you have anything specific you want, contact us and we will see if it is possible, I like challenges……sometimes.

Prices available on request or on our Facebook page. All products, once complete, are sent using Hermes for UK delivery. Overseas shipping can be expensive due to the size and weight, so please contact us for postage costs.
